'The 1955 Model .45 Target Heavy Barrel' Large frame double action revolver chambered in .45 Colt, manufactured circa 1980-83. Features a nickel finish, case colored hammer& trigger. 4" heavy barrel with partially serrated wide sighting rib, raised ramp front sight with orange insert, adjustable micrometer click rear sight with white outline, fluted six-shot cylinder, shrouded ejector rod, serrated .500" target trigger, knurled .500 target hammer, three screw square butt N target frame and two-piece smooth walnut target grips with S&W medallions. Bore is excellent/bright. Retains 92% nickel finish with minor scratches, slight cylinder drag line. Grips are excellent. Action is smooth with tight lock-up.
